System Administrator

As a System Administrator, you will:

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and administer computer systems and networks for efficient operations.
• Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software components as required.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal uptime and availability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
• Perform regular backups and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings.
• Collaborate with IT team to develop and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
• Conduct system audits to ensure compliance with security standards.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and recommend system improvements.

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and services.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their administration.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for automation.
• Solid knowledge of system security principles and best practices.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
